Iran embassy congratulation message on the championship of Iranian team at the IOAA 2026

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London congratulated the championship of Iranian team at the 19th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA 2026).

At a time when the great people of Iran are once again demonstrating their historic strength, resilience, and determination in the face of hardship, pressure, an imposed war, and military aggression by the United States and the Israeli regime, Iran’s young scientists have raised the nation’s proud flag on another important front, the global stage of science and knowledge.

Winning five gold medals and claiming the championship title at the 19th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA 2026) is a remarkable testament to the scientific talent, exceptional abilities, self-confidence, and determination of Iran’s young generation. This outstanding achievement has placed Iran at the top of the world’s most prestigious astronomy and astrophysics competition for the third consecutive year.

We extend our warmest congratulations on this remarkable achievement to the members of the Iranian student team and to the great people of Iran.
